Kentucky Families with Food Allergies- A Support Group

Kentucky Families with Food Allergies
is a support group for people affected
by severe food allergies. We are
based in Lexington, Kentucky.

Our purpose is to give Central
Kentucky families the opportunity to
network, in order to share ideas and
strategies for safely managing
life-threatening food allergies. We are
associated with the Food Allergy and
Anaphylaxis Network.

Our next meeting will be Monday,
April 26, 2010, 7 - 8:30pm, at the
Lexington Public Library's Tate's
Creek Branch (directions here). The
topic will be "Coping with Children's
Food Allergies: The Mental Health
Piece" with guest speaker Katherine
Stone, Ph.D., licensed psychologist.

Kentucky Families with Food Allergies
also coordinates a playgroup for
children with food allergies. Dates and
times for the playgroup vary. For more
